Tanzania
If an African safari is your dream, Tanzania is my recommendation. I’ve been to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater twice, and the quantity of amazing wildlife sightings was mindblowing both times. For luxury experiences flying to the remote areas of the park offers some incredible lodges, but for those on a budget a tour from Arusha is surprisingly affordable. On my second trip I also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak on the continent and a bucket list adventure. Zanzibar is the perfect spot to unwind at the end of a Tanzania trip, with stunning white sand and turquoise waters.
