Uganda
Uganda exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Trekking to find gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done. Chimpanzee trekking was another unforgettable experience. We also visited Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park to round out our wildlife experiences in the country, and were able to do self-guided self-drive safaris that made the experience so much more magical, being entirely alone in the wilderness. Add in exhilarating white water rafting on the Nile in Jinja and crossing the Equator, and you’ve got an awesome trip I’ll never forget.
